Unfortunately we didn't have the correct change, so I had to use the facilities upstairs. I wish I got to see what the fuss was about! On the subject of facilities, we could have gone poor if we did too much travelling in the region - we had to pay about 20 or 30 sen each time we made a "comfort stop" (although that's only about 8 or 12 ozzie cents, I made a lot of stops!) And thank goodness I travelled with a pack of tissues - paper was rare! And so were Western style loos - only one in any restroom was "normal", the rest were squat style. Not my idea of a good time.
