Half a deck

Well it's taken me a few days, but I have finally gotten around to doing a post for the big birthday weekend of celebrations. I had a fantastic weekend to celebrate my 26th birthday, surrounded by my family and friends.

Friday night Fi and I did a bit of pampering (do you like the tan?) followed by a yummy home-cooked dinner and a chick flick. A perfect way to spend a Friday night with my best mate :-)

Saturday was a family lunch to celebrate my birthday and my little niece's 4th birthday. We had a big Mexican feast, lots of pressie opening and delicious birthday cake.

Saturday night I caught up with some friends for dinner - thanks so much to everyone who came along, I had heaps of fun! A few folks couldn't make it, but hopefully we can catch up soon (we have to plan our girlie night soon, Ness!!). And thanks so much for the phone call Jaimee, it was so good to hear your voice. I had a totally blonde moment thinking you were still in Brissie!! Blame it on the wines I was FORCED to drink!!

Sunday was a nice, quiet day pottering around the house, before Tony and I went to Mum and Dad's for a super dooper lamb roast. YUM!! I was totally spoiled rotten with all my favourites. This was repeated on Monday morning (my actual birthday) when Tony served me breakfast in bed and then took me to Sea World to see the polar bears (another favourite). Not too mention all the wonderful pressies I got. Thanks so much!

All in all, I had a fabulous weekend. Thank you to everyone who made me feel so special.

p.s. a sad ending to the weekend, though, with Tony flying to Cairns for work on Tuesday :-(
